Latest news:

THE LOST ALBUM FINALLY AVAILABLE ON CD

Turpentine Records and Cherry Red are very pleased to announce that 'Blame It On The Night', Kevin's second album for Virgin Records, and his follow-up to 'Marjory Razor Blade', was released in July 2013. Unbelievably, it's the first time it's ever been available on CD, and our deluxe two disc remaster includes an additional 19 songs, including previously unreleased outtakes, alternate versions, live songs and rough mixes. Over the next few weeks Kevin Coyne Official Facebook page will be giving you a sneak preview of some of the songs, beginning with the outtake 'One More Drink', a song some of you may know from the CD 'Nobody Dies In Dreamland'. This is a very different version... They will also be running a competition to win a copy of 'Blame It On The Night'. Out July 2013!

CHERRY RED AND TURPENTINE REISSUE KEVIN COYNE'S MASTERPIECE
"CASE HISTORY"
(Jan. 2013) Uncut gives 8 out of 10!

"Nick Drake with a social conscience. The melodies are gorgeous, the songs often beautiful, always full of humanity." (Liverpool Bands) "Very advanced for its time, unique, tight rhythm with meaningful lyrics, 'hip '70s trance." (Martin Lipman) "File with Syd Barrett's 'The Madcap Laughs' or Nick Drake's 'Pink Moon'. One of those timeless albums that after thirty years can still send shivers down your spine." (http://kevincoynepage.tk/) "Naked and raw, the first major statement from a unique talent." (Steve Dinsdale) "The real English Blues of someone trying to help those incarcerated in our mental institutions, not all of them correctly!" (Simon Phillips) "A very raw album, very raw. But it was meant to be." (Kevin Coyne)
